The "Mercator's Neighbors" initiative presents an exciting, educational and humorous reading in which the geographer and cartographer Gerhard Mercator and his time are brought vividly to life for the audience. The actors and actresses are dressed in historical costumes that are realistically modeled on the 16th century.
This is a cooperative event with the Bergischer Geschichtsverein, Abteilung Velbert-Hardenberg e.V.
