We own around 70,000 exhibits, have an extensive specialist library and a stock of historical catalogues, patent specifications and archive material.
In our museum shop we offer a rich selection of specialist literature, but of course also trick locks and games for tinkerers.
Children between the ages of 6 and 10 are welcome to celebrate their birthday with us at the museum! A total of 10 children can participate.
You can rent our spacious museum foyer for events such as receptions or members' meetings.
The Villa Herminghaus was built in 1885. Since 2021, the new building has complemented the ensemble.
