‍The
bus stop "Velbert ZOB" is only a 5-minute walk from the museum and is served by all surrounding cities (e.g. Wuppertal and Essen).

Largely barrier-free footpath from the Velbert central bus station
(Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof Velbert)

From Velbert central bus station, head east in the direction of Nedderstraße. Follow Nedderstraße in a north-easterly direction to reach Bahnhofstraße. Cross the traffic lights and continue straight ahead for approx. 110 meters (Nedderstraße becomes Bahnhofstraße). Stay left on the sidewalk and continue until you reach the intersection of Bahnhofstraße and Friedrichstraße, where you turn left onto the pedestrian zone of Friedrichstraße and follow it for about 110 meters until you reach the small intersection of Friedrichstraße and Kolpingstraße, where you turn right onto Kolpingstraße. Follow Kolpingstraße for about 250 meters to the end. There you will reach a traffic light with a tactile guidance system, which leads across Heinz-Schemken-Platz to the museum entrance.

Please note that all sidewalks have obstacles on both the right and left, e.g. in the form of pillars, lanterns or flowerbeds; keep to the center. Please also note that all intersections are crossed by cars.
